Aron & The Jeri Jeri Band (A&TJJB) is a dynamic collaboration between pianist Aron Ottignon, Senegalese Griot Bakane Seck (of Baaba Maal fame), and star session musicians who have previously toured with icons such as Youssou N’Dour, Baaba Maal, and Omar Pene. Together, they craft a mesmerizing fusion of Mbalax, Afrobeat, Afrofunk, and Jazz in their debut album, "Dama Bëgga Ñibi (I Want To Go Home)." Introduced in Berlin in 2019, their creative synergy birthed an album blending traditional Senegalese sounds with modern production techniques, resulting in a genre-defying mix of jazz, electronic, and West African music.
