Aylin Yildirim, a native of Augsburg, discovered her passion for music and the Alevi folklore of her community from early childhood. In her current project ‘Aylin's Soulgarden’, her passionate singing and Anatolian sounds innovatively meet contemporary elements of pop, jazz and electro. The band's first album ‘Bu bir demdir’ was released in October 2024 on the German label CPL-Music. ‘Aylin's Soulgarden’ set texts by traditional Alevi poets such as Muhyiddin Abdal and Pir Sultan to music, embedding these profound verses in a lively, intoxicating sound bed of indie psychedelic pop with a pinch of soul.<o:p></o:p>
