For the past 4 years Michelle David & The True-Tones have criss-crossed the globe. Playing sold out shows at clubs, theatres and festivals from north to south, east to west. Capturing the heart and soul from every person there.
After the release of five critically acclaimed gospel-infused albums, an Edison nomination (the Dutch Grammy) and numerous TV performances, the band was on the boards of ‘NOS Studio Sport’ and ‘NPO1’. All of this even before the release of a new album. They were invited to accompany the daily TV show with music during the Winter Olympics 2022, reaching approximately 2 million viewers per day during prime time.
Their impressive journey has taken them to renowned festivals like North Sea Jazz and Pinkpop and onto international stages such as Bout du Monde, Les Escales de St. Nazaire, as well as in Germany, including the Mittelrhein Festival, Mosel Musikfestival, Rheingau Musikfestival, and Kulturarena in Jena.
Even on 'Inas Nacht,' one of the most popular TV talk shows in Germany, they wowed the audience and secured a prime-time slot. Michelle David & The True-tones are undoubtedly a musical force that moves the hearts and souls of all who listen to them.
