Spearhead of a new wave in Afrobeats and introducing a massive Sahelian electronic movement, Afrotronix is the experience of very avant garde electronic sounds mastering and holding space to unleash the soul of African best music performers’s voice, electric guitare, percs and drums. Laboratory for the futur tribe genesis, Afrotronix merges electronic music with African rhythms, giving a new wave to South African Amapiano, Haitian Konpa, Columbian Cumbia, and ultimately connecting people and territories on an electric dancefloor. Heir and builder of a long sahelian musical tradition, Afrotronix has won several international prizes including best artist at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (2022), best African electro (2019) and best African DJ (2018) at the All Africa Music Awards. Driven by Chadian guitarist and Montreal-based producer Caleb Rimtobaye, his collaborations include artists like Baaba Maal, Youssou N’dour, Salatiel, Lorenzo Jovanotti and Mbongwana star Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Chris Brown).
